ET Dental Cotton Gauze Balls are pieces of cotton shaped into an elliptical form. These gauze balls are primarily used to absorb blood and other bodily fluids during surgical procedures. They can also be utilized for cleaning medical instruments, disinfecting wounds, and cleansing the skin. Made from 100% pure cotton, these non-sterile, absorbent gauze balls are covered with cotton gauze. They are available in assorted quantities and are effective in absorbing saliva, creating isolated conditions, and applying pressure hygienically. Due to their non-adhesive nature, gauze balls are safe for direct contact with wounds.

Directions for Use:

Before applying the gauze ball, ensure the wound is thoroughly cleaned to remove any debris or foreign particles. Choose a gauze ball of the appropriate size and shape for the wound being treated. Since the gauze ball is non-adhesive, it can be placed directly on the wound and held in place to absorb any discharge. Once the ball becomes saturated, or the wound stops secreting fluids, it should be removed and discarded. Be careful not to touch the wound directly to avoid irritation. It is recommended to change the gauze ball frequently, replacing it immediately if it becomes soiled or saturated.
