The application of Ammdent Easy Stat is simple and highly effective. When used in combination with a retraction cord, the gel helps retract the gingiva, ensuring optimal visibility and access during dental work. Indications:

• As a pulpotomy medicament: Used to control pulpal bleeding during vital pulp therapy.
• As an antibacterial agent: It exhibits both hemostatic and antimicrobial properties, with antibacterial efficacy comparable to 0.2% chlorhexidine.
• During restorative procedures: Commonly used as a chemical hemostatic agent in restorative dentistry.
• For gingival displacement in prosthodontics: Facilitates tissue displacement when used with a retraction cord during impression-taking.

Directions for Use

Preparation: Ensure the treatment area is clean and dry before applying the gel.

Application: Remove the cap from the Easy Stat tube and apply an adequate amount of gel directly onto the gingival area requiring retraction. Ensure even coverage to achieve optimal results.

Adherence: Allow the gel to remain in place on the treatment area. It should stay securely attached without significant movement.

Rubbing and Clearing: Gently rub the applied gel with a cotton pellet to ensure even distribution and to aid the retraction process. If necessary, use a smooth air/water spray to remove any coagulates or debris that may obstruct visibility.

Insertion of Retraction Cord: Carefully place the retraction cord into the prepared gingival space using a suitable instrument. Make sure it is positioned precisely to achieve the desired retraction.

Rinsing: Rinse the treated area with a firm air/water spray to enhance the retraction process and maintain a clear view for subsequent procedures.

Waiting Period: Allow a few minutes for the gingival retraction to take place. The gel will facilitate this process, ensuring easy removal of the retractor cord when needed.
